      Mission
      Within the Control Systems and Modeling team, you will design and develop control strategies aimed at improving automotive powertrain systems in order to optimize performance, emissions, fuel consumption, and driving comfort. You will carry out behavioral simulations and take part in defining control laws through to their validation on test bench and vehicle.

      Key responsibilities

      • Write functional specifications and oversee software development
      • Design powertrain control laws
      • Develop control strategies across various systems (air loop, combustion, injection, torque structure, turbocharging, etc.)
      • Model functions using Matlab/Simulink
      • Take part in validation through simulation, MIL, HIL, engine test bench, and vehicle testing
      • Analyze test results and propose necessary improvements
      • Collaborate with calibration, embedded software, testing, and systems teams

      Profile sought
      Engineering degree or Bachelor’s/Master’s (Bac+5) in energy systems, control engineering, powertrain, or embedded systems. Minimum 8 years’ experience developing internal combustion engine control laws. Strong command of engine management systems (EMS/ECU) and Matlab/Simulink.
